Moadra Survival Systems: Healing, Toxins, Chitinite & Bioplasm

Understand healing’s toxin cleanse, temporary immunity, regenerating Chitinite armor and Bioplasm protection using the installed inventory descriptions.

Does healing do more than restore Lifeblood?

Yes, according to HealLifebloodOrb_inv. Its description includes recovering Lifeblood, purifying Deadly Toxins and momentarily shielding the host from damage. “Momentarily” is not a measured number of frames. The PLImmunity menu key describes increasing immunity time during use; PLCharges and PLRestore describe charge count and restoration.

The practical inference is to inspect healing when toxin pressure is the problem, rather than treating it only as a larger health bar. Verify the effect in your actual build and watch the current charge display. For charge replenishment and historical changes, read the healing guide.

What does Chitinite armor change?

Chitinite_inv says it adds one armor unit to the Lifeblood pool, regenerates over time, and prevents damage push-back while armor is present. ArmorUpgradePickUp separately says maximum Chitinite increases by one.

Those statements distinguish armor capacity from current armor. Do not assume you still have knockback protection immediately after armor has been consumed. The records do not disclose regeneration delay, recharge rate or whether a particular hazard bypasses armor.

Is Umbral Armor the same protection?

No. Its inventory description names reflected damage and protection against Freezing Cold, Corrosive Gas and Deadly Toxins. Its pickup text says it uses Bioplasm. UAStrength decreases Bioplasm usage on hit, UARetaliate increases reflected damage, and UAEndure describes increasing the area-damage interval.

The last wording is specifically about an interval. It does not justify claiming an exact damage reduction or complete immunity. Umbral Armor’s availability in the full package also does not establish a Demo unlock.

Why do the three resources matter?

Lifeblood survival, Bioplasm spending and Protoplasm evolution are different loops. Bio-Magnetism attracts units of all three. The regeneration pickup describes Bioplasm replenishing itself, but it does not state a rate or a guaranteed early acquisition.

At an Evolve Chamber, the menu description names saving, refilling Lifeblood and Bioplasm, replenishing healing charges and spending Protoplasm on available skills. Chamber restoration is stronger evidence than guessing that a resource is permanently lost.

How should you test a survival build?

Use a repeatable, safe situation and change one choice at a time: healing charges versus restoration, current armor versus capacity, or Bioplasm consumption versus reflected damage. Keep observed results in the field planner. The sources identify upgrade directions; they do not establish an optimal allocation or a numerical breakpoint.
