Protoplasm & Evolve Chambers: How Progression Works

Understand Protoplasm, Evolve Chamber saves and resource refills in Moadra, using the instructions extracted from the installed Demo.

What is Protoplasm used for?

The installed scan description identifies Protoplasm as an evolution resource for improving available skills. It is different from Bioplasm, which has its own resource entries. Keep the two names separate when comparing a cost or reading a tooltip; see the resource glossary.

What does resting in a chamber do?

The local EvolveInfo instruction lists five effects: saving progress, refilling Lifeblood, refilling Bioplasm, replenishing Lifeblood Charges, and allowing Protoplasm consumption for upgrades. It also says revival occurs at the last chamber where you rested.

Make resting an explicit step rather than assuming that passing a chamber has the same effect. This guide does not establish how other autosave events behave.

How should you choose upgrades?

Read the description of the options actually available in your save. Compare the problem you face with the benefit on screen: for example, a healing-charge option is relevant to sustain, while the charged-projectile text is relevant to charged shots. We do not publish a universal best upgrade order without testing prices, prerequisites and combat outcomes.

Learn Heal Lifeblood before making a survivability decision, and use the blaster reference to match weapon names across languages. If your next obstacle is a route rather than a fight, scan it first.
