Moadra Movement: Crawl Roll, Wall Jump and Mid-Air Extensions

Read the actual movement instructions for crawl rolling, wall sliding, wall jumps and Protopulse jump extension, with later abilities separated from Demo access.

Which movement instructions are in the early Orb text?

HealLifebloodOrb_inv describes more than healing. It names a limber frame and says to press jump while crawling to perform a quick roll to avoid danger. It also describes a strong grip: lean against a wall while falling to slide, then press jump to wall-jump.

These are explicit instructions in an acquired-ability description, not proof that the same options exist before acquisition. They also do not specify roll invulnerability, jump reset rules or a guaranteed boss dodge. Use your current bindings rather than an assumed keyboard key.

How can you practice without inventing a shortcut?

On safe ground, enter a crawl and test the jump input. Beside a safe wall, compare falling against it with falling away, then try the wall jump. The ToJump tooltip separately says holding jump increases height. Observe what your build actually does before combining these inputs near a hazard.

Keep the initial position and the attempted landing point consistent. A useful note says which input changed the result; it does not label an untested ceiling or ledge as a secret route.

Can Protopulse extend a jump?

Its inventory text explicitly says it may be used mid-air to extend jump distance. This is separate from its pulse damage, projectile destruction and shield destruction. The Protopulse guide explains the same source boundary.

There is no decoded frame-perfect timing, distance figure or proof that it reaches a particular pickup. A sensible test is to compare the same jump with and without a mid-air pulse while recording the result in the field planner.

What about later movement abilities?

The package includes a Blightwalker inventory description for a mid-air leap with wings, and a Hyper Rush description saying the skill button can be held to extend flight. Those are later-content references, not a guaranteed Demo upgrade path. Their named records are available in the databank when you choose to inspect story-related material.

Do not infer an acquisition order from a file’s number or a room’s internal name. If a passage mentions a different energy, compare the barrier clues. If the issue is a missing key or power, use door troubleshooting instead.
