FAQ

Does Gatling’s firing rhythm change?
Yes. The inventory describes automatic firing with increasing tempo and warns that prolonged fire may overheat Emerald Plasma reserves. It gives no exact heat threshold.

What do the game files confirm?

Increasing tempo means a short firing sample and a longer uninterrupted sample are not equivalent observations. The description supports a changing firing rhythm, while leaving the actual curve and maximum rate unstated.

The overheating note refers to Emerald Plasma reserves. It does not identify an exact heat meter value or say that the warning is a Bioplasm cost. GBRate names a fire-rate increase without spelling out its thermal consequences.

Which upgrade directions are listed?

  • Increase the blaster fire rate

Menu directions name what changes, not numeric ranks, prices or a tested optimal order.

How can you apply these clues?

  1. Observe the start of a firing sequence and its later rhythm separately. Keep a note of your upgrade rank so a later comparison does not mix two states.

  2. Use actual warning feedback in your build when deciding when to pause. The text alone does not justify a fixed number of safe seconds.

  3. A longer attack opportunity may let you observe the accelerating behavior, but staying exposed is a separate risk. Repositioning still takes priority when the encounter demands it.

Plasmawave carries a similar prolonged-fire overheating warning but uses a splitting stream. Alpha offers a semi-auto and charge contrast without this particular warning in its quoted inventory text.

Acquisition and verification limits

The absence of a number means heat management cannot be reduced to a claimed cooldown timer here. No equal-condition DPS or fastest-kill result has been measured.

The expandable records below preserve the original game wording and source keys. A bundled record is not proof that the item or encounter is available in the Demo.
